Growing up in Jersey, Jaclyn felt fortunate to be inspired by live theater in NYC from a very young age. She began dancing at three years old at her local dance studio, started competing by age six, and has been hooked on the feeling of performing ever since.

Studying classical ballet/pointe at the New Jersey School of Ballet all throughout her childhood laid the technical groundwork Jaclyn needed to be able to explore other aspects of the performing arts, like singing and acting, by the time she reached high school at Immaculate Heart Academy. It was then, under the direction of Kim Galberaith & Jodi Capeless, that she was first able to tell a full story onstage and fell in love with connecting to an audience in that way. Her breakout role as "Ziegfeld's Favorite " in Will Rogers Follies at Don Bosco Prep won her a Metropolitan High School Theater Award presented by the Helen Hayes Theater for "Outstanding Performance in a Featured Role." She was also nominated for a Rising Star Award at the Tony-nominated Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ that same year which jumpstarted her training at their Conservatory Program under the direction of Mark Hoebee that following summer.

Knowing she wanted to make performing her career, Jaclyn pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from The Ailey School / Fordham University at Lincoln Center where she studied under the direction of Melanie Person and Tracy Inman. There, Jaclyn trained in ballet and modern (Horton/Graham technique) five days a week with world-renowned teachers, such as Debra Wingert, Graciela Kozak, Daniel Ulbricht, Ana Marie Forsythe, Milton Myers, Christine Dakin, and Virginie Mécène, to name a few. She learned original Alvin Ailey repertory, such as Revelations and Blues Suite, and performed in venues in the greater New York City area as part of a touring ensemble, the Ailey Fordham Student Dancers (ASFD) professional students group led by rehearsal director, Lakey Evans-Peña. Simultaneously, Jaclyn worked as a dance assistant for the Radio City Rockettes education department and class assistant to jazz choreographer, Debbie Roshe, at both Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center. She graduated with honors, Magna Cum Laude in 2019 and began pursuing her professional career in NYC.

Aside from performing as a Rockette herself, Jaclyn teaches Rockettes 101 Workshops to aspiring dancers who come to see the Christmas Spectacular at Radio City in season. Out of season, she can be seen around the historic venue giving tours to excited visitors from all over the world. In her home state of NJ, she loves to give pop-up classes at several, local dance studios and inspire the next generation of artists.
Additionally, she has worked as a fitness instructor as well as a professional fit model for GAP, Inc. and print model for beauty brands such as CND and KISS Cosmetics. In 2020, she founded her own small business called Jazzy Jac's Cookies, a one-woman at-home bakeshop specilialzing in artisanal, custom cookies based in Hoboken,NJ. She has gained media attention and was featured on NBC New York (watch here). Most recently, Jaclyn has found a passion in speaking with students about how and why it is important to chase their dreams. She was honored to be the Commencement Speaker at her former high school's graduation ceremony this past June, which can be seen here (starts at 20:45 - ends at 28:35).
